About me
I have professional and academic qualifications in education, nursing, psychology and psychotherapy and have worked in the field of Mental Health for over 25 years. I have worked as a school teacher, a general nurse, a mental health nurse, a nurse tutor, a nurse education manager, and a mental health development co-ordinator.
I then went on to train as a Group Analytic Psychotherapist, qualifying in the year 2000. As I psychotherapist I have worked with individuals and groups in the NHS, Her Majesty’s Prison service and in Private practice.
I have also run Experiential Personal Development groups for trainee counsellors and taught on training courses approved by the Institute of Group Analysis.
I have provided Clinical Supervision for professionals who work in Drug and Alcohol services, Victims of Trauma services, Youth Offending services and Group Analysts with their own private practices.
I have published chapters in books based on my experiences in the Forensic setting.
